MY STORY
A passion for holistic and inclusive health
Passionate about the health field, Laure is originally from France and obtained her nursing diploma there in 2002. A traveler, she enjoys exploring the cultural diversity related to care in Burkina Faso, Ireland and Canada, where she settled in 2004.
Laure worked in hospitals mainly in medicine and cardiology for 7 years, in community organizations (FJFNB, SSMEFNB) to do exciting projects in prevention and health promotion for 8 years, then in community research and development on youth mental health (pilot research and services project: ACCESS Open Minds) for 3 years.
Since February 2021, she has been teaching at the Université de Moncton School of Nursing with a specialization in community health. She shares her passion for disease prevention, health promotion and systemic understanding of health problems with students.

Laure has been involved in her community on several occasions by being a founding member of non-profit organizations such as CAFI (Welcome Center for Immigrants) and Circus Stella (Association to Promote Circus Arts), for example.
She is currently a member of the Women and Gender Equality Committee at the Université de Moncton, as well as the Chair of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Decolonization Committee at the School of Nursing.
Laure is passionately committed to creating safe places for exchange and expression for people from all backgrounds.
She obtained the holistic nurse coach and consultant training certificate in May 2024 and this allows her to combine several of her passions: positively strengthening people, contributing to each of them reaching their full potential, integrating the spiritual side into care, acting preventively and being able to contribute to the well-being of a group, a company or an organization.
Laure has been committed to personal development for over 20 years and has used health professionals as well as alternative therapies (acupuncture, osteopathy, etc.) to help her overcome her own challenges, whether in terms of her various traumas, her ADHD, the mourning of her daughter or her anxiety.
In addition, she does not hesitate to use her artistic side, such as dance or slam poetry, to heal, develop and grow.
